Jybrail Brown, an eighth grade student at Bay Minette Middle School, was named Baldwin EMC’s Shining Star Student of the Month for October. She was nominated by faculty member Felicia Lambert for displaying the Touchstone Energy characteristics of integrity, innovation, accountability and commitment to community.

Ms. Lambert wrote in her nomination, “Jybrail is an outstanding and smart young student. [She] helps out a lot at home with her great-grandmother as well as staying an honor student at school. I am very proud of her.” Brown was presented with a Shining Star Student certificate and a $50 Visa gift card.

The award was presented by WALA FOX 10 TV’s meteorologist Michael White, who also delivered a weather presentation to the class.
