Baldwin EMC’s Power Quality program was designed to guard against power surges and lightning that cause a major concern for many of our customers. We have a variety of surge related equipment available to provide industrial strength protection from surges. We can also special order surge equipment for specific needs other than standard residential applications. Installing our industrial grade equipment offers the peace of mind of knowing your appliances have a high level of protection to help guard against power surges, and protect against lightning that may enter your home through the electrical system.

At the time of installation we inspect all of your outside wiring within the meter base panel. We check to make sure all connections are tight and secure and we inspect for any damage to the wiring that might have occurred from a previous lightning strike that could compromise the outside electrical panel. Our Power Quality program provides Industrial grade surge equipment, a professional installation and customer service second to none.

We offer a variety of payment options through our lease or purchase programs. All fees can be added to your electric bill. You can purchase as many point of use devices as you need to protect your sensitive electronic equipment, such as televisions, VCRs and computers. Note: Power quality fees are based on single-family dwellings only. Charges for multi-family dwellings such as condominiums and apartment complexes may differ.
