Baldwin EMC recently reached an outstanding safety milestone because of employees working safely – five years without a lost time accident. Baldwin EMC employees have worked approximately 1.9 million safe hours since September of 2010.

“This accomplishment is significant and says a lot about the value we place on safety at Baldwin EMC. The true milestone we are celebrating is knowing each employee worked safely and is returning home to their families at the end of each day’s work,” says Chief Executive Officer Karen Moore.

Baldwin EMC provides employees with numerous safety training courses including CPR and First Aid, and conducts monthly safety meetings covering a variety of topics. Baldwin EMC also has a Safety Committee that meets regularly to discuss potential improvements to the cooperative’s safety policies and procedures.
