Baldwin EMC held its 14th annual Spring Into Action blood drive on Thursday, April 4, where 97 pints of blood were collected. The donated pints of blood can save more than 291 lives in our community.
“Almost 300 lives will be saved because of your generosity; that’s incredible,” said Mark Ingram, Baldwin EMC vice president of corporate services and public relations. “Thank you to everyone who donated; you have truly made a difference!”
The blood drive benefited LifeSouth Community Blood Center and local hospitals. Each pint of blood has the potential to save as many as three lives, including accident victims, those fighting chronic illnesses, and patients recovering from surgery.
