Fully Resuming All Normal Business Operations – Effective Monday, June 1
As of Monday, June 1, 2020, we are fully resuming all normal business operations, including the collections process on unpaid balances effective June 1. We have a plan in place to work with every member who has been affected by the coronavirus, so please give us a call if you have questions or concerns. Our Member Service Representatives are available to assist you by phone at (251) 989-6247 between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.
For traditional accounts, your unpaid balance will be spread over future billing cycles for a six-month period. The details of your unpaid balance and payment arrangement are being sent to you in personal correspondence. Please be on the lookout for these details in your June bill, and in an email.
For prepay accounts, your unpaid balance will be spread over your future payments using the following formula: 75 percent of each payment will credit your pre-paid account, and 25 percent of each payment will apply to your past due balance. The details of your unpaid balance and payment arrangement are being sent to you in a personal letter and email.

At Baldwin EMC, one of our goals is to offer the highest level of safety to our members and our employees. In light of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, we will be taking additional safety measures.
The first step is to begin active social distancing, as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Therefore, we will be limiting our business operations and offering alternative ways to pay bills and address member service issues.
We are focused on maintaining reliable electric service to our members while we take extra precautions to protect both our employees and our members.
Office Changes
Effective Thursday, March 19, 2020, our lobbies will be closed, and most employees will be sent home to work as a means to flatten the curve of the COVID-19 pandemic. Although our lobbies will remain closed until further notice, members can still utilize the drive-through at each district office location.
