Baldwin EMC’s Pink Power campaign was launched in 2011 with a mission to raise awareness about breast cancer and to raise funds to help support the needs of those in the community who are fighting the disease.

Throughout the month of October, you may see our crews donning pink hard hats on a work site. You may even catch sight of our Pink Power bucket truck heading down Hwy. 59 in Baldwin County.

While this is the season we do traditionally “think pink,” Baldwin EMC has expanded our campaign with the intent to raise awareness for not only breast cancer, but all types of cancer.

Since its inception, Baldwin EMC’s Pink Power campaign has raised more than $25,000 to benefit cancer research and those living with the disease. The co-op has forged a partnership with Pink Heals Alabama (also known as Guardians of the Ribbon – Lower Alabama Chapter), which uses 100 percent of the funding to assist cancer patients and their families in our local community.
