Baldwin EMC is pleased to announce that Lee Johnson has been selected as the cooperative’s new Vice President of External Affairs and Economic Development, effective January 5, 2026. In this role, Johnson will lead Baldwin EMC’s governmental relations, community engagement efforts, and strategic economic development initiatives across the region.

About Lee Johnson
Lee Johnson previously served as the Executive Vice President for Baldwin County Economic Development Alliance, where he managed the organization and led economic development efforts on behalf of both the organization and the community. Prior to that, Johnson was the Senior Manager of Field Operations for the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) in Nashville, Tennessee, where he oversaw TVA’s 15 Regional Development Consultants and six Technical Services Specialists/Engineers. In that role, he worked to attract and retain jobs and investment across the seven-state TVA region.
