What: Stock the Pantry 2024
When: Donations accepted throughout the month of April
Where: All Baldwin EMC office locations in Summerdale, Orange Beach and Bay Minette
Why: Because local children need your help!
Picture the children in your neighborhood. Or the kids in your Sunday school class. Or the ones you see every morning at the school bus stop near your office. Now picture this: One out of every four of those kids lives with food insecurity. It’s a sad statistic, but a real one for children on the Gulf Coast.
The summer months are especially hard for these kids, who often rely on their school for breakfast and lunch. That’s why Baldwin EMC is proud to partner with WKRG and Feeding the Gulf Coast by serving as a donation site to provide meals for local kids this summer!
You can help by bringing your kid-friendly, non-perishable food donations to the big red barrels at any Baldwin EMC office in Summerdale, Bay Minette or Orange Beach throughout the month of April.
*Please consider items that do not require adult help, like pop-top meals, fruit squeezes and applesauce, peanut butter, and granola/cereal bars.*
