Baldwin EMC Honors Shining Star Student for January

Baldwin EMC is excited to announce the latest recipient of the Shining Star Student award. This student was nominated for displaying the Touchstone Energy characteristics of integrity, innovation, accountability and commitment to community.

Daesia Lee, a seventh grade student at Daphne Middle School, was named Baldwin EMC’s Shining Star Student of the Month for January. She was nominated by teacher Tiffany Holt.

Holt wrote in her nomination, “From the first day of school, Daesia was a shining star. Her energy, her smile and her personality make her not only a joy to teach, but her spirit is contagious. She is kind, outgoing and humble. She is a positive energy in the classroom.”

Lee was presented with a Shining Star Student certificate and a $50 Visa gift card. The award was presented by WALA FOX 10 TV’s meteorologist Michael White and Baldwin EMC representative Kim Frank.
