Baldwin EMC is calling on members of the community to spring into action by rolling up their sleeves to save lives. The cooperative will host the annual Spring into Action blood drive on Thursday, March 27, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at their headquarters in Summerdale, with the hope that they can help boost the supply for LifeSouth Community Blood Centers.
“Baldwin EMC is deeply committed to the well-being of both our members and our community,” said Mark Ingram, Vice President of Corporate Services and Public Relations at Baldwin EMC. “That’s why we continue to host our annual Spring into Action blood drive. We see firsthand the impact this drive has on our community and the hope that grows when we come together to help.”
Everyone at least 17 years old, 110 pounds and in generally good health is invited to donate blood. All blood types are needed and first-time donors are welcome. As an incentive, all blood donors will receive a $20 eGift card, and will be entered into a drawing for a $100 Visa gift card.
