Our crews made it safely to Mississippi and wasted no time getting to work to help restore power for North East Mississippi Electric Power Association members. They’re battling frigid temperatures, ice-weighed trees, overnight refreezing, broken poles, and downed lines. Their strategy is to work one section at a time. Power has already been restored in some areas, and while it’s tough work, our team is locked in, determined, and ready to see it through. Keep our crews in your prayers as they push through and work as safely and quickly as possible to get power restored!

Please join us in congratulating Kortlyn White from Elberta High School, Margaret Conyers from Fairhope High School, Farrah Lane from Bayside Academy and Cody Gardner from Baldwin County Virtual School. They will participate in this year's Youth Tour in Montgomery, Ala., in March and Washington, D.C., in June!
Twenty-seven Baldwin EMC employees are rolling out now, heading to Oxford, MS, to assist North East Mississippi Electric Power Association with power restoration efforts following Winter Storm Fern. The storm caused significant damage to their system, and at the peak of the outages, 95% of more than 30,000 meters were without power.![]()
